Joi & Tony – Engaged

I met Joi at a wedding I shot about a year ago – she was one of the few guest photos I took that day. When she contacted me she was like “you know me, you took my shot before” and I just laughed because I take hundreds of pictures per event. Honestly, when I shoot weddings the only persons I know are the bride and groom and depending on how large the bridal party is I may attempt to learn their names. When I finally met Joi and Toni it was obvious that I was going to have a great time shooting their engagement and wedding. Congratulations again Joy and Tony – I can’t wait for the big day – Kenyan Style. Enjoy my faves from their shoot.

When I told them to sit for this shot the exact words Tony said to Joi was I quote “sit down here? this dude is crazy”…lol

The Dance – Kinyue and Eugene

Grazing the blog soon will be Kinyue and Eugene’s E-shoot and their beautiful wedding. I was honored to shoot this beautiful event but while I still work on their wedding pictures I decided to give the couple a glimpse into a view they probably didn’t see much. They had this unique energetic traditional dance from Liberia and i just couldn’t put the camera down for a min..enjoy!

A few of my favorites from Toks and Femi. It is one thing to have ideas in mind and it is another for the couple to be down for it. Toks and Femi are fun and down for some creative shots and you will see this in the shots at the beginning and at the end of this post. Ok, the shots at the end were taken after the wedding, so brides fear not..lol. On a serious note, I had a great time shooting them and I can’t wait to see how their final wedding book will turn out.
