Can you believe Ethan turned one last September already? here are a few pictures we took couple of weeks prior in preparation for his birthday party. I figured I share this with you guys while I prepare my next wedding post, so visit tomorrow for a beautiful Jersey wedding.

We did a little book for him which included pictures from his birth till he turned one.

Before I retire Yemisi and Ayo from the blog, here is a summary of their wedding day. It was truly another beautiful event I was happy to be a part of. Thanks to Wale and Paosin for the excellent coverage, with these 2 guys on my team it felt like a slam dunk coverage. Also check out their site at the end of the post, finally a site that can display images the way they should be.

I had so much fun shooting their getting ready. Ayo and Yemisi’s room were right next to each other and they still didn’t see themselves before the ceremony(but I’m still in favor of first looks). I couldn’t have asked for any better coordination on a wedding day as a photographer. Future brides take note

This time I had the ladies dress the guys

The guys show up to make sure she’s well touched up

Not sure the happy kid were listening

So Ayo’s brother (Niyi) came out to give his best man speech, and what started off as a tough speech ended up being the most emotional I’ve heard this year.

Uto contacted me for her maternity shots and the first question I asked was “how many months are you?” She said 7.5 months and I gave her my “why did you wait so late” speech
Lucky enough I just had a shoot cancellation and in no time she agreed to show up at the studio for my usual shoot preparation stuffs. She arrived and I was definitely surprised how good she looked having only a few weeks left. This shoot was so last minute that I wasn’t really sure of our shoot location so we made a dash for DC. Our first stop was at one of the memorials and we got some wow shots and more. I had mad fun shooting this series, check them out.

One from the studio

I’m sure she still hears my voice in her head saying “work it Uto”

Eloka’s said we were paying too much attention to the belly, so I gave him a 3D/HD portrait
Eloka was supposed to throw the leaves up and immediately leave the frame but lets just say it didn’t work out as planned but I like the candid look of this shot

Loving Eloka’s belly play shots

Yes, we are pregnant!

A hi-five at my shoots usually mean it’s a wrap….great job guys!
