Welcome to my blog, my name is Dotun Ayodeji, a professional photographer based in the DC area. I finally got around to getting this blog running after years and hope to share my photography journal with you. I will be displaying images ranging from recent personal shoots to commercial assignments and sometimes images I just never got around to posting on my old blog. I will be posting images every week, so feel free to visit my archives whenever you return.

A few of of my favs from Kemi’s birthday shoot or what I call a “feel good” shoot. Most of us don’t think about shooting to celebrate our birthdays but I am glad Kemi was able to do this and you can tell we had fun on this one. Congratulations again Kemi, I know it’s weeks after

I shot an engagement/couples session with Salsa and Ronnie who got engaged early this year. I always love couples who bring it all to the set, they were fun, loving and very romantic. Here are a few of my favs from their shoot.
We found a truck in a nearby parking lot so we trespassed to get this shot
I thought the V of this tree was a perfect frame for a kiss.
I know I trespass quite a lot at shoots
Rounding up the shoot as it was getting dark so we decided to do some more night shots
The shot above was also lit with my headlights as seen in the shot below.

Met Akua and Mackie a while back and I was so glad to be part of their day. This was my first Ghanian-Nigerian wedding wedding and I had such a great time shooting it. Congratulations Akua and Mackie!

There is so much humor with the guys helping each other dress and the one where they are all vying for the bride's attention. I think my faves are on the metro--can't believe you got a car to yourself unless you asked the passengers to move in your "Dotun is working" voice lol--the shot w/the water in the foreground and the very last in the chairs. Beautiful work.
