I finally got around to getting this blog running after years and hope to share my photography journal with you. I will be displaying images ranging from recent personal shoots to commercial assignments and sometimes images I just never got around to posting on my old blog. I guess you can call this a sneak peek post as to what to expect next year. Meet my hot and sexy couple Mercy and Ehinomen. Like many of my brides, Mercy has been following my work for sometime now, so it was a no-brainer decision when it came to choosing her wedding photographer. I must confess that I don’t think I’ve met a bride that smiles as much as Mercy or maybe I have but she is definitely up there. For this shoot, we wanted something that looked like a quick photoshoot right before they left their hotel for dinner and we accomplished just that. As many of you might know, I shoot fashion and beauty when I’m not shooting weddings, so I jump on every opportunity to shoot my couples in a similar setting. Expect more non-conventional engagement images like this on the blog in weeks and months to come. Thanks to the staff of Hotel Palomar for putting up with us. And of course, the shoot wasn’t possible without Wale’s help and Makeup artist – Ontaeia of Face to Face. See their save the date site here. A little story behind this shot. This was actually the hotel restaurant, we were bold enough to quickly close the main entrance door to get this shot and as we shot we prayed that no guest or manager came around

Another awesome wedding I shot April this year. I always poke fun that I can’t live in Jersey but I love going out there to shoot weddings This event was beautiful from the planning, to the bridal party, to the decor, to the reception party – all were just on point. Did I also mention that it rained heavily that day but that did not stop us from getting our shots. As a matter of fact the rain helped us and I will tell you why. Normally couples want to go off site to shoot and for the most part these locations might not offer much from a photography point of view. Also couples don’t know how a 2-hr window can easily used up for formal pictures and travel to the off site location. So we did our shots in church and the others in the driveway of the reception and we got just what we needed.

My favorite part of the reception was the bouquet and garter toss, I will do a rare full series on it..take a look
Now that’s how you jump! Both feet off the ground and hands fully extended You would think the MOH will catch the bouquet.

And sometimes I take a break to take pics with friends and family
Party was coming to an end but I needed to do so some portraits, the closest thing to me was the bar so we used it.
