Brand new to the blog is Oti and Ese. This is what I love about shooting weddings, is meeting potential clients and maybe that explains why I’ve never done one flyer to advertise my work. I met Oti at Mercy’s wedding last year and I said to her ” I see you love taking pictures” and that began our photography chemistry. I looked up her Prince on facebook and I couldn’t wait to get their shoot started.
When I thought I ran out of shooting locations in Washington DC was when I ran into the National Portrait Gallery and with their strict photography rules in most areas we were still able to make it work. I’m not going to tell you any more stories about this power couple but I will let you enjoy the post.
Oti just working it!
I asked for a Barack-Michelle wave and we got it after a few tries
Just as the museum security guards notified us what we couldn’t use flash, I saw a spot light used for one of the exhibitions and we used it accordingly…sometimes it’s really about seeing the light that is not with you.
Now the fun stuff. We took a trip to Old Town Alexandria for this one. It was another effortless one, well I’m sure Oti and Ese will tell you differently…they will tell you I worked them hard
These moments never fail when we shoot outdoors
Told Oti to ride an imaginary bike towards Ese and here’s her rendition lol
You might see this at the entrance of their reception….if you are invited that is
Ese’s Naija Movie walkAt this point I knew it was time to wrap up the shoot.
We only had less than 2hrs to do this shoot. They were happy they survived my shoot bootcamp and happy to go home, can you tell?
The ice cream shop always get our attention when heading back home so we made use of it.
