As you view this page I can hear you say “Finally, he blogged” It’s good to be back blogging after taking sometime off to focus on client work and my recent destination wedding travels doesn’t help either. But I can assure you that I have loads of post ready to launch after this one.
Blessing and Jide’s wedding went down as one of my favorite Baltimore weddings held at the Radisson Lord Baltimore Hotel. This couple keep it real as usual and stayed true themselves and you will see that in their pictures. I want to give a special shout out to BCG Events who planned and decorated this classic wedding, I always tell my clients that good planning translate to awesome pictures. I also want to say thank you to my special team of photographers who came out at various times during the wedding to assist – Mandy, Nafa and Nick, thank you!
A few words from the Couple:
From 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Dotun was on and popping, camera in hand! The fab BCG crew and Dotun captured our vision perfectly, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Our first look was awesome! He absolutely captured our personalities. Funny story – Jide and I were finally done making out rounds and saying our thank you’s to families, guests, and vendors…we are completely drained at this point and ready to hit the sheets. We come out the elevator and who do we see? Dotun!! Talking about “let me get a few more shots” LOL!! And he did (Dotun always gets his shots) he is such a blessing! Our wedding was quite the beautiful experience and we’re thrilled that Dotun was available to capture every frame!
A few words from Planner and Decorator:
Planning Blessing and Jide’s was fun especially when it came to designing it. Blessing and Jide wanted a Modern Vintage Glam Wedding, that would showcase their individual style and personalities and that would ultimately celebrate their love. The first thing was their location; Lord Baltimore hotel, finding a venue that encapsulated their vision and also meet the wedding budget was key. The vintage decor and feel of the hotel certainly embraced that. Then we had asked them their favorite colors and they said “Turquoise”, “Mustard Yellow” and “Definitely Purple”. Then Blessing added a few things “Boss you know I’m going for that vintage Glam look, so I definitely want pearls and we have to have some bling”. “I also love that damask pattern, it is so in line with my vintage theme so I’ld love for it to be incorporated somehow, and we want silver, Yes silver. And bear in mind that I’m not a huge floral person, so I want a non floral bouquet and lots of candle light”. So the task began to bring all this together in a cohesive, beautiful way. And the team delivered a beautiful, glamorous, elegant, incredibly produced event. It was an absolute pleasure producing this event for a truly beautiful couple.
Not sure who’s on phone but Blessing facial expressions tells me it’s someone special or someone that needs to get off the phone quick..lol
Some stellar portraits, I love these! I love it when couples create time for their pictures.
Blessing killed these shots! Who said your getting ready location doesn’t matter?
The First look gets no better!

I had no heads up that the boys were about to remix the garter search! This moment was one of my highlights of the evening. Future brides and grooms give me a heads up next time. As you can see I almost missed this
