A MARYLAND/DC ENGAGEMENT – CHIGOZIE & VICTOR

I met Chigozie in 2009 when I shot one of her close friends wedding. At the time we didn’t really talk or should I say I don’t really talk much or have time to mingle when am shooting weddings for obvious reasons Fast forward two years later she called me up to shoot her wedding and apparently she’s been one of the many silent stalkers of my work and she’s a bride who just love photography so I knew we will get along just right. Chigozie and Victor already had all this cool locations for our shoots even before our consultation so my job couldn’t have been any more easier. I can’t wait for tomorrow when this lovely couple will be tying the knot. Enjoy my faves from our shoot/adventure

Wedding season picked up much sooner than I expected so I’ve been really busy this past few weeks. Rather than leave you hanging here is my image of the week. I took this last year when I shot Kiana and Jermaine e-shoot at Hampton University. This was the last frame from the shoot after a very long day and it turned to be one of my faves from the shoot. I can’t wait to share Kiana and Jermaine’s shoot with you hopefully sometime this month but don’t hold me to it

There were various displays of cupcakes and wedding cakes as well as several flavors to sample. I’m sure you can see by the expressions of the attendees that they loved it. Great job Babe! Tijeerah & Reney – A Howard/Washington DC Love Affair

A lot of my blog stalkers were wandering if Tijeerah and Reney ever came down those stairs from my last post Well, yes they did and here is the part 2 of our shoot. They met at Howard University so we made a quick stop on campus to re-kindle some old memories. Our last stop was at the National Mall for some more awesomeness. When it comes to Tijeerah and Reney, I love that they are all about simplicity and we were determined to bring that to our shoot. You can really tell they enjoy one another and I feel so honored to have captured their love through my lens. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding later this month. Enjoy my faves from their shoot.

We started off in the studio with a classic portrait…love it!

Shooting in DC is always about it’s many monuments, so I’m always challenged to shoot differently and I can say I love the results.

Tijeerah & Reney – A Washington DC Engagement

Met Tijeerah last year during a model shoot and she had mentioned to me that she was engaged. I was too deep into the shoot that day so we didn’t discuss much about her wedding but I knew from the shoot she would be a bride any photographer would love to photograph. A few months later, Tijeerah called me about shooting her wedding and the photographer-bride connection was just instant. I finally got to meet Renee during our consultation and he was just as cool as his bride. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the end of this month.

I will be posting more from their shoot but here is a little sneaky peek into some fun we had during our shoot in DC.
